We are welcomed to this dram with notes of Iberico ham on the nose, along with notes of tinned pineapple, green apples and demerara sugar.
The palate has a coastal note reminiscent of the seaside and shingle beaches, along with hints of lemon yoghurt, ground pepper and a touch of peat smoke.
There is a freshness in the finish and the peat smoke influence endures in notes of toasted marshmallows.
